Wow! What a day! 
Our first Scout-o-Rama. We had Lots of interest at our booth for information about coin collecting. Lots of families came by to learn about the hobby.
Our first Scout-o-Rama. We had Lots of interest at our booth for information about coin collecting. Lots of families came by to learn about the hobby.We showed them about counterfeit coin detection, old stock certificates for their artistic beauty, storeage methods by giving away folders, cards, tubes, and air tights. We gave away ANA pencils, foreign coins & wooden nickels, $20 note posters, and booklets on getting started in coin collecting. We had coin coloring pages and crayons, Numismatic word search puzzles, Anatomy of a Coin diagrams, ANA Coins for A’s program flyers, Design Your Own Commemorative coin pages, and flyers about our October Coin Collecting Merit Badge Workshop. We showed kids what a Red Book is for and how to use it, and the variety of coin magazines available. We invited all who stopped by to attend our club meeting this coming Friday. We hope to see many new faces. 
Our booth was awarded two ribbons. The red one for participation in the event & the yellow one for Honorable Mention!
